YAKAP was initiated by alumni from Philippine Science High School. It began as a legacy project for PSHS Batch 1983 but has since gathered wider support from other alumni and parents. It is currently run by a passionate group of volunteers from various PSHS batches. YAKAP is a vibrant group of medical, public health, academic and corporate professionals who have embraced a common vision. We dream of a world where mental health and wellness abounds. We aim to contribute to this vision by creating safe spaces to speak of issues related to mental health and well-being, by providing opportunities for shared learning and by providing information on services and referral systems.
